Single cradle is a relatively old frame type. At present, few new models use this frame, but old-fashioned European and American motorcycles have always adhered to this frame. The disadvantage is that the frame is not rigid and comfortable (because the rear wheel rocker arm does not have a shock absorber system), so this frame is only suitable for low-speed driving.
This kind of frame is better understood. The double steel pipes extend from the front of the car to the rear of the car. At the four corners surrounding the left and right engines, this kind of frame makes up for the deficiency of the single-tube cradle frame, improves the overall strength without increasing the production cost.
However, the weight is heavy, the engine is cumbersome to install, and there are many connection points between the frame and the engine, which are prone to the so-called resonance zone.
The emergence of the wing beam frame makes the motorcycle's handling performance higher. Because of the use of lighter materials, the inertial force of the car body is reduced, and it can provide better response to rapid or high-speed steering and rapid changes in speed.
